About
Brooke has taught classes at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary since 2003, and is now Assistant Professor in Hebrew Bible and Director of Emerging Pedagogies. He graduated in 2008 from Princeton Theological Seminary in Old Testament.
Brooke co-authored, with Jennifer Green and Joseph Scrivner, *Handbook to a Grammar for Biblical Hebrew* (Nashville: Abingdon, 2005). He maintains the weblog Anumma, where he writes about Hebrew Bible/Old Testament and higher education.
In Fall 2009, at the annual conference of the Society of Biblical Literature in New Orleans LA, Brooke presented, “The Contribution of Distance Learning Strategies to the Brick-and-Mortar Classroom.” In Fall 2010 he presented, "'To Those Far and Near': The Case for 'Community' at a Distance."
